Game idea mechanics, no multiclass but two archetypes simultaneously. Undead/Hexblade Warlock, Champion/Battlemaster Fighter, Armorer/Battle Smith Artificer, Moon and Stars Druid, Scribes Evoker, and the like is it balanced? No. Would it be fun? Remains to be seen. #DnD5e

@SamComerford24 My first campaign in 3.5 i had quests that were from wow and a plotline from Angel. I had not played wow at that point nor watched Angel. These were pointed out, and I was like "Huh, weird" There are no original ideas some one will always draw a correlation you didn't see.

@xerjester It's how I see them, also ran the magebred in Metrol this way. When I had a party meet them, they were mostly pastiche's of 80's Claremont X-men, and there was the 90's X-Men theme playing softly layered beneath the other music.

They held it together for all of 30 minutes saying everything they thought was right and then as soon as they thought they were in, they didn't think I would rescind their invite.

@XPtoLevel3 Last time I did something remotely close to that the character ended up willing drinking from the styx to forget their pain. They were then taken to the feywild by a nymph to live out the rest of their life in their now feebleminded state.

@magistercaecus That is part of it. The general pop has no idea how it works. The gnomes are data mining. The inspired and quori are actively causing havoc. The kalashtar are scared because the same could happen with the quori within them. I really like pulling from cyberpunk for Eberron.

You can understand one another so it could fall in line with a Charisma (animal handling) (persuasion) (deception) or (intimidation) or a Wisdom (persuasion) (deception) or (intimidation) check. Already something I kind of do, but actually saying it some how makes it different3/3

Ever have something just click? Animal friendship charms an animal so you have advantage on social checks with them, but how can speak with animals help? 1/3

It shouldn't offer advantage because that steps on a much more focused non ritual spell, but it could allow for different avenues of interaction. Now you are not limited to a Wisdom (animal handling) check. 2/3
