I stand with Harvard University in its principled defense of academic freedom and institutional independence.
Universities must remain sanctuaries of free thought not tools of political pressure or financial coercion. The misuse of serious moral concerns to impose ideological control is deeply troubling.
My support is not just for Harvard, but for the core principle that education must remain a beacon of truth, inquiry, and intellectual integrity.
Dear @SenTomCotton: FYI, in Asia there are different countries. Citizens of different countries may look similar to you, but in fact they are from different countries.
Happy to provide additional basic facts to you or your staff that I learned in elementary school. Ask anytime.
Just finished watching #TheSuperMarioBrosMovie and the cutest, sweetest lil girl told me her fave character was Bowser. My 5.5-year-old, on the other hand, covered his eyes, every time he came on.
We cannot become numb to these senseless acts of gun violence.
We as a nation need to take action and ban assault weapons. Now.
How many more people have to die?

Kayen: Did we finish all those muffins? (Looking at the empty muffin pan)
Me: No, there’s more in the fridge.
Kayen: PHEWWWWWW! (hugely exaggerated) We don’t want Daddy to get all grumpy about it. #kids
Dear @WSJ, given the recent rise of violent crimes in, and against the Asian community. Your clickbait title, is extremely tone deaf at best, but matter of factly, completely racist. Do Better.
What if instead we reverse the script and tell our husbands: You are so lucky, that your wife, is willing to give up her personal ambitions, so that you can pursue your goals, unemcumbered, in the workplace? (1/2)
