“The smell of hairspray clouding the room, music blasting from speakers and lots and lots of glitter, the cosmetology students were preparing for their annual spring show and competition on April 30 at the Haugh Performing Arts Center.”

@JACC_Conference A3. There are multiple sites we use. Of course we use our website, but we also use ISSUU to showcase our newspaper in PDF form, Twitter and Instagram for social media. We get a lot a traffic from our website according to analytics and Instagram. #JACCChat

[Charity Wang @charbyoo]

@JACC_Conference A2, the incomparable, one and only @LuzzoTannan is responsible for the distribution of our newspaper. We have a list of all newsstands on campus, and one of his responsibilities is to keep a spreadsheet of all pickup rates of every newsstand. #JACCChat

[Charity Wang @charbyoo]

@JACC_Conference A1: We usually distribute our newspaper every other Wednesday morning. There are stands all around campus, and our circulation manager keeps track of how many papers are picked up from each stand and what not. #JACCChat

[Charity Wang @charbyoo]

@JACC_Conference Hi, my name is Charity and I am the EIC of the Citrus College Clarion and Logos Magazine. #JACCChat

[Charity Wang @charbyoo]

@JACC_Conference Sorry for the late reply, but the latest breaking news story we did was the lockdown that happened on January 15 at our school.

@JACC_Conference A4, definitely try to stress the fact that web and social media is so important. It saves a lot of time on publication day when the stories are already online and edited. Social media also helps us get news out quickly, especially in time of a crisis/disaster.

@JACC_Conference Last semester, we were reliant on videos as content, such as campus questions. However, we also integrate the usage of map add-ons on WordPress in order to complement a story that shows addresses, like a restaurant review.

[Charity Wang @charbyoo]

@olivia_bowman1 @JACC_Conference To clarify though, the staff members I have on Logos are also Clarion members. However, I have a much smaller staff on Logos, compared to the Clarion.

[Charity Wang @charbyoo]

@olivia_bowman1 @JACC_Conference For the most part, yes I do.
