We had a great day today!! I also really loved the amount of “hi Barbie” greetings being shared 😂. Halloween in an elementary school has to be one of the top 10 most joyful places- everyone is so happy and excited and talking to people they might not normally!
Construction of “Array City” is underway! Students are given a multiplication fact and they have to build an array out of “windows”to make their building. Stay tuned to see where Array City ends up!
Thinking classroom strategies being used to kick off our multip/division unit in 3rd grade… Can we help Mrs. Taylor calculate the ingredients she should buy for her dinner party? Loved hearing their conversations and discussing different pathways of getting to the same answer
Working on Digital Citizenship with this years 3rd grade! We learned through @CommonSenseEd about media balance and times it is important to be device free. We discussed times involving safety, concentration, respect, and sleep. Classes made PSA posters to hang around the school

I was so impressed by how well my classroom did a gallery walk to introduce our unit. So many awesome conversations and connections about what the photos had in common and what we were curious about when looking at them.
That’s a wrap on this school year! I have loved my class so much, it is hard to say goodbye. Thankful to have such an awesome team to look forward to the future together ❤️🐝 #bbbees
In art class with @mrsconigs our 3rd graders made the endangered animal they researched! These were so precious and well done. I also love the connection between our classes! #bbbees
Parents wrote surprise notes of encouragement for their kids and they found them on their desks today! First day of state testing done ✔️ their reactions were priceless 🥰
