This is a reminder that the monthly outdoor warning siren test will take place today at 11:00 AM.
This is only a test and no action is required. The sirens will be tested twice, once from our station and once from the Sheriffโs Office
Tonight, our high school fire cadets practiced using the RAM (rapid attack monitor/blitz gun) appliance. They worked with our cadet advisors to gain experience in preparing a hydrant to flow โbig waterโ. The weather was fantastic for this drill.
Come and join us on June 7 from 1230 to 330 at the Chardon Township Park for our first annual safety day. Free citizen, CPR, and stop the bleed training.

A new monument in memory of Police Chief John Bohl was celebrated today. Bohl was also a fire captain on Chardon Fire. He died in the line of duty in 1966. (See our Facebook page)
