@Prettyflyguy77 Hi, when a charger moves from CPS to an operator such as EZO it is removed from our map and can no longer be used with our RFID card or app. The charger owner remains the same, often the local council, and all support moves to the new provider (EZO in this case).
Heading north in your EV?
Prep for your journey: Visit EZO's transition hub for detailed info on chargers migrating from CPS to EZO.
Don't forget to download their app before setting off.
(Electroverse, Paua, Zapmap and others can also be used.)

@Prettyflyguy77 Hi, for charger 70630 at Northfield Terrace Public Car Park which is still on the CPS network, an engineer will visit it today to investigate and fix.
Planned Maintenance
Due to essential maintenance, on 29/4/26 between 19.00 and 22.00, drivers may experience short periods of chargers becoming unavailable on the ChargePlace Scotland network.

@fellowhoodlums Hi, the Crianlarich unit had sustained significant damage. The owner, Stirling Council, is going through the process to have it repaired. They don't have an estimated time yet but plan to make it live again. (While that happens it has been removed from the live maps/apps.)

ChargePlace Scotland is transitioning!
As the CPS contract comes to an end, chargers across Scotland are moving to new operators.

@robb_masters Hi, the decision on parking cost is taken by each charge point owner so varies from location to location. They should have signs up at the car park which explain what parking costs apply. Generally, expect to pay parking charges as normal.

@Mrs_E_H_S_1980 2/2 Do you remember from your visit if the new provider branding was applied to the chargers? If not applied, we'll be sure to get it updated so that any drivers using the chargers in the future have immediate access to multiple up to date support links/numbers.
@Mrs_E_H_S_1980 Hi, thanks for the note. As part of the wider transition (and eventual closure) of ChargePlace Scotland these chargers were taken over by a new provider and it is them who would be able to assist in fault finding. In this case it is TAP Electric: https://t.co/cAMGYI4LrZ

@ArfurG 2/2 If you experience any charging issues with those units in the future please give support a call after the first failure so we can immediately investigate and assist as well as minimise the potential for additional pre-authorisation charges.
@ArfurG Sorry for the issues you experienced. We had a look at all the Denny chargers. The Herbertshire charger was hit by a vehicle and was made safe + requires a longer term fix. The other 3 chargers have successfully been charging vehicles over the past few days without issue. 1/2
