๐I have started a new journey to explore the unforeseen land in my world; Java Virtual Threads (JEP425 ). Through this milestone i will keep you posted ๐, so stay in touch. The fun part, how to leverage it with JMeter evaluation metrics. #Java#JEP425#VThreads@gregturn
@fromcodetocloud It sounds very irresponsible when Developers don't want to write Dockerfiles, how the fuck do you expect to package your app, and this is how "it runs on my pc" nonsense arises. I don't entertain this nonsense at all, developers will write Dockefile , at bare minimum working one
@fromcodetocloud Dockerfile is a very important artifact of the build chain. As a developer you must know how to package and build your app.
Therefore, developers must write the Dockerfile, to make sure all build dependencies are packaged, DevOps on the other hand optimize and review it.
The pipeline is well documented at this point. Extract, chunk, embed, retrieve.
The part most teams underestimate is evaluation. You build it, it answers 80% of questions well, and then you spend months chasing the other 20% because you have no systematic way to measure which chunks are retrieved vs. which should have been. Without an eval framework from day one, you are optimizing blindly.
