you know, we're probably just a couple of months from the first Hallmark Christmas movie which is like:
"She's an anti-AI, off-the-grid creative"
"he's literally chatbot AI slop"
"can they ever see eye to eye?"
red button is genuinely a horrifying concept. do you think you could reproduce the circumstances that led to you meeting your partner? your friends? your career? you'll be forever haunted by what you couldn't recreate
Note that I have seen the poster of him performing for Mandy Nolan, but I feel like that was more emblematic of him not having a strong political alignment, and more like doing a personal favour for Mandy.
This is right. I didn’t really view Hughesy in a political way until this year. Im not sure he even did (happy to be corrected). If anything my conception of him was that as a comic he had become a parody of himself.
There is a false narrative that the left loved Dave Hughes before he became the LNP's number one supporter. Dave never talked about politics 99% of the time; now that's all he talks about.
Also, it's hilarious that Dave Hughes calls anyone who isn't a conservative as someone who is being paid by Labor, while he simultaneously fundraises on behalf of the LNP. That's the funniest thing he has done in decades
Also, a very common thing people do is reinvent their own past. Hughesy may have voted for labor in the same way many conservatives say they voted for green when Bob brown was leader. Im not saying he didn’t, but I think he just didn’t think about politics much until recently.
