A look back at my growth in AI and Machine Learning this year:
1. Presented my own product at Google I/O Connect China.
2. Won the Best Tech for Good Award at the Global Expansion Hackathon co-hosted by Xiaohongshu Tech and GDG.

🦋 Butterfly / +− begins with footage of butterflies in flight, gradually interrupted by tracking boxes, grids of characters, and mechanical sounds. Brief glitches expose digital structures beneath the seemingly seamless scenery, as though the world before us exists only through the continuous calculations of some unseen system.
I wanted to explore whether the world we see is real. When a butterfly’s wings suddenly turn into characters, and the breath of nature gives way to the clicks of a hard drive seeking data, could the reality we trust be nothing more than a convincing surface? Once the glitch passes, everything returns to normal. Yet one question lingers: was what we just saw a distortion of reality, or a fleeting glimpse of its true nature?
Drawing visual inspiration from BUCK’s design work, this piece uses ASCII characters as the building blocks of living forms. Through shifts in density and light and shade, letters, numbers, and symbols evoke a miniature ecosystem growing within a digital space.
I wanted to explore whether we can still sense the lightness and breath of life when it is depicted through characters rather than cells. Here, the technical language of retro terminals becomes a new kind of natural texture: symbols no longer simply convey information, but also carry our imaginings of artificial life and future ecologies.
I recreated a similar effect too! ✨ I’m not sure whether it’s actually glass or acrylic, but from an animation standpoint, it looks more like acrylic to me. 🔊 A sound-producing device underneath sends vibrations through the sheet, creating ripples in the water on top. As light passes through, it creates those colorful, distorted patterns. 🌊🌈https://t.co/u8tXV8DkAX
