The gains of reading good books begins with renewal, mental cleansing and shaping of perspective before it's about any visible or tangible outputs, as many young readers expect.

Why does the quality of your questions matter?

THE ANSWERS YOU GET IN LIFE LARGELY DEPEND ON THE QUESTIONS YOU ASK.

If you ask poor questions, you get poor answers.

It's a great disservice to self to be a youth, especially from a poor background, WITHOUT reading.

Readers are often very good critical thinkers.
Beyond that, reading always reflects in THE QUALITY OF QUESTIONS a person asks. Many of us ask really unintelligent questions without knowing. For instance, asking someone the obvious or unrelated questions.

Information is the raw material for thinking. The mining activity that produces this raw material is called reading.

We now have an entire generation that despises reading hence, the scarcity of thinkers.

Sometimes, we forget.

And that's why it's so pertinent that we have “reminder systems”.

Earlier today, I facilitated a training session alongside Sampson Amulu, who serves as the Director of Programs at One Youth Global. Today's training for all volunteers was aimed at aligning the volunteers with the demands of the upcoming Bootcamp.

You don't do “expo” (as it's said in Nigeria) when you know the subject very well.
IP theft is mostly indicative of an intellectual bankruptcy on the part of the thief. If I can write mine, I would have to steal your essay/poem/etc.

April 23rd is designated by UNESCO as the World Book & Copyright Day
Writers face a great challenge with theft of intellectual property. The WBCD seeks, partly, to create awareness on the importance of reading books as a means of mitigating IP theft.
