@learn2relearn I agree work has been crazy and we are preparing for the students to return on November 4. Online learning and use of technology has been mind boggling, but I am glad that the students and parents have been understanding.
@mdotzenroth A3 Feedback is about lifting people up or supporting them to do better, but it is a collaborative effort. Keep it positive, but honest! #schoolclimate6#OPCPQP
@BPazari1 @MatthewBellTDSB @JTPQP Demonstrating that you are willing to work along side them and support them in their practices. #OPCPQP#SchoolClimate2
@ms_cmiranda @JTPQP Going forward, I would think that you would want to gain some insights from your staff. I like the idea of a survey and it would have to be anonymous, so staff would feel comfortable answering honestly about the school climate #OPCPQP#SchoolClimate2
@BPazari1 One strategy that may help with this is scripting your conversation. What questions do you need answered? Anticipate some possible responses and write how you would respond. It is also important for us not to be on the defensive. Actively listen!#OPCPQP#SchoolClimate2
@LJames134 Liana, I couldn't agree with you more. As an administrator and teacher, you must see every student and acknowledge them. The smallest gestures and a genuine interest can impact a student's day because they matter and they are valued.#OPCPQP#SchoolClimate2
@learn2relearn@JTPQP Our language is so important and we must learn to listen to our individual language as teachers and future leaders. Does our language contribute to the positive school climate that we are trying to create?#OPCPQP#SchoolClimate2
@MatthewBellTDSB @JTPQP Especially, during these trying times and the anxiety levels that are raised and will continued to be raised. #OPCPQP#SchoolClimate2
