Religious Leaders We Cannot Continue To Launder Bad Leadership!!!
Today, at a breakfast organized by the Patriotic League of Uganda, Apostle Grace Lubega described the political outfit led by General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Chief of Defence Forces of the UPDF, as peaceful, not abusive or subversive.
The facts say otherwise. A simple scroll through General Muhoozi's X account shows execution threats, abduction threats, and abuse of power. That is the opposite of peace. It is subversion.
Apostle Grace Lubega is my spiritual father. He leads a ministry that gathers up to 20,000 Ugandan youth every week. Members of that same ministry have been abducted simply for holding the head of this political outfit accountable.
Religious leaders must start speaking truth to power, especially on politics. A church with that many people must realize that its words shape how its members interpret the politics of the day. You can raise sheep who never question power, abuse, bad leadership, or bad governance. Or you can raise people like Christ.
Christ stood up to bad leadership. He told the scribes and Pharisees "Woe unto you, hypocrites!" (Matthew 23:13) and called Herod "that fox" (Luke 13:32).
He demanded accountability. He told the temple traders they had made God's house "a den of thieves" (Mark 11:17), and when struck unjustly he asked, "If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil" (John 18:23).
He stood for the oppressed, sent "to preach deliverance to the captives... to set at liberty them that are bruised" (Luke 4:18).
He spoke against injustice, condemning those who neglected "judgment, mercy, and faith" (Matthew 23:23) and "devour widows' houses" (Mark 12:40).
Church, we cannot claim to follow Christ and stay silent while power abuses the people. Speak.
Aate some of us cannot go to bed with such inhuman characters.
A clear fact is that Uganda is not a monarchy and we will never be.
The question of succession should be discussed with all the Ugandans on board.
We native Ugandans have no other country except Uganda our cradle land.
So issues concerning our country are a prerogative to all of us.
If PLU doesn't respect the Leadership of Teso, then the entire Teso should shun not only their activities but also Leaders who are identifying with this Pathetic Group.

Maj. Gen. James Birungi, Lt. Peter Ahimbisibwe Kinyamatama, and Lt. Col. Efraim Byaruhanga exploited Lyavara Hamza, an ADF defector skilled in manufacturing improvised explosives, to produce locally made bombs. The objective was to destabilize the country, justify increased field operations budgets, and personally benefit from the funds
We are on the journey to reclaim our place of history in building this nation.
We will rise again.
No fear whatsoever will make us relinquish our drive.

We need to retreat and lay better foundations. The political space isn’t ours. We were better off with our cows and we used to educate our children and that’s where our power was not until one of us betrayed us. Let’s retreat we will come back better and stronger.
This is just the beginning.
We will have lots more of those where we will discuss pertinent issues to us as the people.

Elwelu was a loyal servant of H.E Yoweri and the next thing we are going to hear the government has changed hands not by election but by a staged coup.
As Iteso, we kept quiet on Anita. Now they have come for our son of the soil, Gen. Elwelu. Enough is enough! We shall not tolerate any more foolery from this government. Teso is watching
