@IncogAssociate I don’t think you grasp the idea of intercalation. The medical school academic curriculum for the first two years is so basic sciences intensive that it only requires an additional year to intercalate a full Honours BSc into their medical training.

@buttonslives Depends on the reason for the mastectomy. If cancer, then BMI doesn’t come into it. Surgery gets done and suction drains needed in high BMI. If for risk reduction or gender affirmation then lose weight first as MUCH higher risk of both surgical and anaesthetic complications

@juniordoctors_ Fine. MPTS is a committee of, and answerable to, the GMC. Whatever. Once threshold for investigation by tribunal is reached, all accusations are determined. I didn’t say any and all things would be determined individually, only as and when they cumulatively reached threshold

@juniordoctors_ This is merely one of the allegations made against the dr. Several allegations were made and, taken in sum, clearly reached the threshold for investigation. It sounds to me like a disgruntled employee got fired and went to the GMC vexatiously but this post is just provocative
