8,000,000,000 people on Earth. Almost no one knows you exist. The few who do are too busy to care. Relax. No one’s watching. Dear son, Go build your life.
With a reported 480 new HIV infections in Gulu City by the end of March 2026 alone, one can tell that difficult and uncertain times lie ahead, especially for those engaging in multiple sexual relationships and high-risk sexual networks. If that describes you and you prefer to hit it raw, it is time to reflect and change your ways. Otherwise, you could become part of these statistics. The HIV/AIDS focal person at GRRH has also encouraged you to embrace using PrEP before engaging in such risky sexual acts.

This morning, I held a fruitful meeting with the Mayor of Gulu City, @PaLabeja, at his office.
I congratulated him upon assuming office and wished him a successful tenure as he leads the people of Gulu City.
Among the key issues discussed was the establishment of a twinning cooperation between Arua City and Gulu aimed at promoting the sharing of best practices, strengthening collaboration, and enhancing resource exchange for the mutual development of our two cities.
Today has been another opportunity to remind fellow Ugandans that we can't achieve the $500 Billion economy if road traffic crushes still claim 10-20 lives every day

The beautiful pictures you have been seeing were taken by @giovanniokot and one thing we love about him, he doesn’t demand photo credit.
We negotiate for the work and he delivers. What I do with them is my business.
When I joined tourism and car hire, I started as just a broker. I would connect with people who had cars, agree on terms, post the vehicles, and when clients came in, we negotiated the pay.
Along the way I got many enemies, and at some point I felt like quitting. But I chose to be strategic and patient. With time, we began purchasing our own cars.
Today, I thank God that we have built our own fleet. I rarely block people, but I never forget where I started from, and sometimes in corporate business you must make tough decisions to protect what you are building.
Now I can negotiate my pay better or even decide to keep a car parked if the terms are not right. And we are growing bigger every day.
What hurts me is that many Ugandans prefer to fight you instead of supporting you. They forget that when one person grows, opportunities open for others too and together we all grow.
In the marketing field, some people hesitate to share or support our work, yet what we are doing contributes to profits and visibility for the whole country.
Still, we move forward. Hard work, focus, and consistency will always win.
I think Ugandans are going through a severe mental health crisis. People aren’t okay, even the ones who seem like they have it all together aren’t. That’s why a small misunderstanding with someone can evolve into a heated argument or even a fight. Be mindful of how you deal with people out there. Theres too much unresolved stress within people. Dont play around, dont joke around, be mindful of statements you push out. Abantu tebali bulungi atte banyivu.
