I realized that there were little bits of me that were feminist, though I would have adamantly said I wasn’t. I’ve been doing the hard work to kill those things. Why? Feminism is poison to being godly. If you are called a feminist do some self reflection and see if it’s true.
I saw the question “What is Biblical patriarchy.” It’s easy. See Ephesians 5:22-33, Col 3:18-19, and 1 Peter 3:1 and 3:7. The question I have is what the heck is “Hyper-patriarchy?” Seems like a term used when a person doesn’t like what they think is going on in a marriage.🤔
The husband of a contentious woman will eventually shut down and find peace elsewhere, emotionally and physically.
Many wives in the church today see this as a win.
It is not.
All it is, is opening the door to the devil.
Most men can only conceive of loving their wife by... becoming their wife.
Taking over chores and other household duties, laundry, baby care, etc.
Leads to disaster.
For decades, men have been trained by media and similar mediums that what women want and need is for them to become... women.
Staying up at night with babies.
Doing more housework.
Sharing their feelings.
Split "consensus" based decision making.
Instead, what women (and men) need are men who are more manly - better at providing, better at leading, better at planning, better at making decisions, better at ruling and subduing the domains God has given to them to tend and keep.
The result is the household and wife having an abundance of resources that they truly need, instead of being lost in this modern madness of bad married couple cosplay, where neither party embraces the design and duties God has given them
Ladies, if you are “allowing” your husband to lead because he happens to be leading the way you like right now, then who actually has the authority in your house?
Run fast and far from all these loud strumpets who claim Christ, while rejecting His authority.
Trust God.
When people come to my home for marriage counseling, I frequently find myself saying the same thing repeatedly:
"Guys, life does not have to be this hard. You can just enjoy it."
Wives:
-He is allowed to have sex with precisely 1 woman on earth. You. Make sex a priority. You'll enjoy it.
-Don't nag, belittle, berate, or trash talk your husband. And don't hang out with people who do.
-Make the home a beautiful, enjoyable, and refreshing place to be.
Husbands:
-The more competent and confident you are, the more relaxed and at ease she will be.
-Be patient, kind, and care for her as the weaker vessel
-Make her life enjoyable, stable, and peaceful
It can be tempting to fight, nitpick, and bicker about things.
Have sex instead.
Relax
Love and enjoy each other.
I read a blog where a Christian woman said she dropped her kids off at a daycare after going back to work. She said she realized she had made motherhood and being a stay-at-home mom into an idol where she became self righteous and looked down on others. So she determined Biblical womanhood was not a righteous thing.
I’d submit that the problem in that case was not with biblical womanhood. Biblical womanhood is biblical regardless of your personal sins and shortcomings.
The number of men I know - hard working, so busy providing for large families whose wives... at home got into socials and media that pushed her into a victim narrative and eventual abandonment and divorce... is large at this point.
It's insane women deny this reality or that husbands have a duty to protect all members of their household from all possible threats...
You’re a fool if you think that social media isn’t constantly pushing feminist/liberal/christian hating propaganda in your wife’s face no matter how carefully her algorithm has been curated.
I know several couples divorced or going thru one right now because the husband was ignorant of it.
Let the reader understand.
It should really make you stop and wonder aloud how "Christian" women have reached a point where they will publicly say that their boss has more authority and receives more compliance... than their husband ever will...
Dressing as Chris Hansen for Halloween and showing up to people’s houses while they’re giving out candy to children and asking them “you see how this looks, right?”
