This might make some waves: norepinephrine doesn't remodel synaptic function and behavioral states by signaling onto neurons. It does so by mobilizing astrocytes. Companion preprints by @LeftonKatie

It is with an unbelievably heavy heart that I write that my husband, best friend, and partner in crime for 20 years, Larry Young, passed away unexpectedly. I will share details regarding a memorial service once I know something. Please share with those who knew Larry @lyoun03
We are deeply saddened by the loss of @lyoun03, a founder of the @S4SNeuro, a legend in the field, and a brilliant scientist who is loved by many, many members of this society and beyond.
Our #S4SN2025 meeting will be dedicated to the life and memory of Dr. Larry Young! ❤️
@AnneZMurphy@lyoun03 My deepest condoleances Anne ... It is a sad new. Larry was alway kind and definitively a model for all scientists and humans around.
