Manchester City lost much-loved club tour guide Paul Little last week. Applause in his memory will be held after 62 minutes against Aston Villa on Sunday. His family would be proud if fans take part in this salute to a City fan who said he’d saved his best job till last …
people who design apps have no regard for muscle memory fr i’m gonna crash out if i click this new create button instead of library one more time on spotify
Proud that the stand carries Dad’s name. Equally proud that there is a statue of him, Mike & Francis that represents a great period in @ManCity history. Not surprised that @Carra23 knows nothing pre-1992. Suggest a visit to @FootballMuseum to plug any gaps in knowledge.
[THREAD] This #WomensHistoryMonth, let's not forget how many of our rights were only won in recent decades, and weren’t given by asking nicely and waiting.
We need to fight for our rights.
Here's are a few examples:
Very few school shooters have gotten the death penalty. Yet the U.S. is trying to charge Luigi Mangione so he gets the death penalty for killing one man. You can kill dozens of kids and get a lesser sentence because their lives don’t matter as much as a CEO’s. That’s America.
If you feel like giving up, please remember the reason why you held on for so long. It may take bravery for you to talk and to ask for help, but please do it. Please hold on and you will make it through.

I have finally found a way to put into words why this is the case.
When I was at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on the 10th of June 2023, I genuinely said to my uncle next to me:
"If we win the Champions League tonight, I genuinely couldn't care less if we never win another trophy again."
I truly meant it. I have witnessed my club complete what is regarded as the pinnacle achievement of club football –– winning THE treble.
The constant yo-yo-ing and bottling competitions made that moment when the final whistle blew against Inter all the more special to the point where I wasn't worried about winning it all ever again. Experiencing the lows allowed the success that followed it to mean so much more.
Would I love it if we created a dynasty and won the CL and numerous trebles again? Absolutely. Would I still adore this club even if we got sent down to League Two due to the charges or the Sheikh sells up and we naturally do downwards? Absolutely.
Bring on the failings. It's what gives our club depth and some much-needed perspective.
