We have wonderful news to share with you all! Today, we launched a small mobile library in Dasht-e-Barchi! Charmaghz welcomed the children and their excitement to read and play. We will continue expanding our services around Kabul, where children need them the most. #bookmobile

Pt. 1: The past few weeks have proven to be trying times. Just yesterday, families from Kunduz and other provinces fled to Kabul for safety. They are living in the parks. We see children terrified because they miss their homes, friends, and loved ones who couldn't come with them.

Pt. 2: War aggravates intergenerational trauma and affects their development. All children in Afghanistan deserve a childhood. They should be in school playing with their friends. A place where they can imagine, play and ask questions.

After being on break for Eid celebrations Charmaghz is back on the road! The children missed us & we missed them as well. Many of them received Eidi! It is wonderful catching up with the children around Kabul & hearing about their Eid! So many wonderful stories to share. 🚌📚🧠
