@guardian It's almost as if we'd developed public health policy and perinatal care for a reason after observing the effects of generational poverty on life chances even pre birth, huh?
@HEWilliamsBooks I had ten of 'em as a kid. Involved being sent from relative to friend to piece together the childcare my two working parents needed (early decade) to lengthy periods unsupervised , discovering underage drinking and associated passtimes later
@RevampedCP I was refused a hospital parking permit as I lived 'too close' at 26 miles away. When I appealed no bus after the end of late shift I was told to organise my workload better and run for the 8pm one. I was a delivery suite midwife.
