43 years ago today: former Chiefs RB Joe Delaney, who did not know how to swim, dove in to a pond in an attempt to rescue 3 children who were drowning. Delaney rescued 1 kid. However, he and the other 2 drowned and passed away.

A true hero who should always be recognized. RIP 🙏
