@UKDefJournal I am a huge supporter of the Civil Sercice but in the case of @RFAHeadquarters personnel HMT areto blame, they refused to ack the unique skills and pay banded as "Non Standard Pay Group" not "Professional Seafarers" as i wished and refused use of meaningful pay comparators.

🚨The UK government has committed to increasing defence spending to 2.5% of GDP by 2030, while refusing to move on pay for Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) employees.
🗣️Nautilus director of organising Martyn Gray said ‘if the Prime Minister is serious about supporting the UK’s defence capabilities, he would commit to restoring RFA pay to pre-2010 levels and avoid industrial action’.
