I’m rejecting the career ladder metaphor in favor of the career river. Here’s why:

Masks are good but not nearly as protective as vaccines. If @lapublichealth actually wants to get more people vaccinated and slow the spread of Covid, why not mandate that everyone in a public setting must provide proof of vaccination?
She leads with compassion.
She advocates for equality.
She promotes diversity.
She designs solutions.
She breaks stereotypes.
She speaks up for inclusion.
She stands up for human rights.
Women, everywhere, are changing the world.
Completely and utterly unacceptable. Biden promised to welcome immigrants, and people voted for him based on that promise.
Upholding the xenophobic and racist policies of the Trump admin, incl the historically low + plummeted refugee cap, is flat out wrong.
Keep your promise.
Dismantling racist, anti-Asian violence means standing up to white supremacy - the same ideology that asks us to empathize with those who commit racist violence rather than the families destroyed and communities targeted by it.
