@DrPoornimaP, Director, @CHART_TSB@AshokaUniv, was invited to participated in #RESCOMM2025 (17–19 Dec). She chaired the Plenary on Healthcare Communication and was a panellist in the fireside chat on AI & innovation in health communication.
We’re delighted to share that Prof. Sailesh Mohan, Deputy Director & Head - CVD Epidemiology, @INDIACCDC, and @DrPoornimaP, Deputy Director & Head - Environmental Health, Senior Research Scientist, CCDC and Director, @CHART_TSB, participated in the Phenome India National Conclave on Longitudinal Cohort Studies: Cohort Connect 2025 at @csirimmt, Bhubaneswar last week.
Prof. Mohan and Dr. Shivani Patel highlighted insights from CCDC’s CARRS cohort, which has strengthened understanding of cardio-metabolic risks in urban South Asian populations. Prof. Prabhakaran shared CCDC’s growing work in environmental health within our India GeoHealth hub, including evidence on environmental exposures and its impact on long-term health, leveraging the strength of inter- digitating cohorts .
