I read somewhere that,
Isaac Newton once made good money trading.
Investing in the South Sea Company.
He bought the stock, watched it move in his favor, took his profit and got out.
That should’ve been the end of it.
But then the stock kept going higher and higher.
And that’s where things started to change.
The profit he had already made suddenly didn’t feel like enough. Everyone around him was still making money, and watching from the sidelines became harder than taking the trade in the first place.
So Newton bought back in.
Much higher.
Not because the setup had necessarily improved.
Because he didn’t want to feel like he was missing out.
Then the bubble collapsed.
And he reportedly lost a fortune.
Think about that the next time you take a solid trade, hit your target and watch price continue without you.
One of the smartest people to ever live still got caught by the same emotions traders deal with every day:
Impatience made him feel late.
FOMO made him chase.
Greed made the profit he had already banked feel too small.
That’s how trading gets you.
Not always because you’re stupid.
Sometimes it’s because you made a good trade, took your money, and then couldn’t leave it alone.
You don’t need to catch the entire move on every trade.
You simply need to protect the decision that already paid you.
Wishing us all a Profitable Week ahead💜

one of the ugliest truths about life is that every choice kills another version of your life.
get married, and you’ll eventually miss the freedom you had alone. stay single, and there will be nights when you wonder what it would’ve been like to build a life with someone. have children, and you’ll miss parts of the life you had before them. don’t have children, and you may spend years wondering about the family you never created.
there is no perfect path and there is no decision that leaves you with everything.
the life you didn’t choose will always look better from a distance because you never had to pay its price.
stop searching for a choice you won’t regret , it doesn’t exist. choose your life, accept what it costs, and live with the consequences. buena suerte 👍
I have some time on my hands today, so I’ll teach you something about how expectations can ruin trading for you in the long run.
Imagine two traders.
Trader A enters every trade expecting 10R.
Trader B enters the same market comfortable taking 3R.
Now both traders catch a good setup.
Price moves +3R.
Trader B closes his trade. His job is done. He got exactly what his system was built to extract.
Trader A is only getting started.
He watches +3R become +5R and starts calculating what 10R will pay him.
Price gets to +7R.
At this point, he isn’t managing a trade anymore. He’s managing an expectation.
Then the market reverses.
+7R becomes +5R.
He doesn’t close because he has already mentally spent the 10R.
+5R becomes +3R.
Still holding.
Eventually, he gets taken out at breakeven.
Now here’s the interesting part:
Both traders correctly predicted the market.
One made +3R.
The other made nothing and probably feels like he lost.
Do this repeatedly and Trader A eventually starts forcing trades, holding winners too long, moving targets, increasing risk and becoming frustrated with perfectly good setups because they aren’t producing the returns he EXPECTS.
Meanwhile, Trader B keeps collecting his boring 3Rs.
This is what expectations can do to you in trading.
Sometimes the market is giving you enough to build wealth, but because you expected more, enough starts looking like failure.
There is nothing wrong with targeting 10R if your data supports it.
The problem starts when 10R becomes something you believe the market owes you.
Trade what the market gives you, not what you already calculated in your head.
Target Draws on liquidity‼️
Hope you understand now ??
Banana peels+ ginger treats insomnia(sleeplessness) and boost testosterone levels in men, just cut the peels of 10 bananas and boil in 1 liter of water with ginger for 15mins and drink 100mls every evening🍀❤️
tupac recorded 501 songs, but only 2 became top ten hits.
van gogh painted 2,100 paintings and only sold 1 while he was alive and it was 6 months before he died.
sabrina carpenter released 67 songs and five albums over the course of 10 years before she had her big hit "espresso."
glen powell spent 19 years trying to become an actor before "top gun: maverick" made him a star. 19 solid years.
and connor story spent 8 years waiting tables and he was ready to quit acting for good. and the day he almost got fired, he got an email and he found out that he got the lead actor role in "heated rivalry," the biggest acquired hbo show in history.
and you are giving up because you tried twice? or maybe 10 times?
look, a winner is just a loser that tried one more time and that's just it
winners lose more than losers even try.
It’s a new trading week in August already.

I’m looking for people who are actually putting in the work and don’t have access to capital,

6 dangerous signs most people ignore;
1. if someone is staring at you for no clear reason, stay alert.
2. if a stranger tries to become friendly too fast, be careful.
3. if someone stands too close to you without a reason, create distance immediately.
4. if a place suddenly goes quiet or feels strange, pay attention to your surroundings.
5. if your gut feeling tells you that something is wrong, do not ignore it.

This sentence from The Odyssey hits hard:
“What you most want is what you most can’t have. And what you most can’t have is what you already had, and lost.”
lol the biggest mistake you can make is assuming the loudest person is the most powerful
as you grow and mature, you’d realize that real power moves in silence and by the time you realize who was actually in control, the game is already over. attention is for amateurs but leverage is for professionals and noise is for spectators while silence is for operators.
those with the most influence, the deepest pockets or the greatest leverage don’t announce themselves. learn, buena suerte 👍
Samurai Miyamoto Musashi was right when he said:
1. Accept reality as it is. Then act.
2. Never chase pleasure for its own sake.
3. Want nothing so badly it owns you.
4. Regret nothing. Extract the lesson.
5. Envy no man. Study him.
