@MikeVanDervort @libroderick2 Charter techs in NYC filed a decertification petition 399 days ago. The NLRB Reg 2 is supporting the union's delay tactics. The votes are in but the NLRB refuses to count them!
It's been over a year since the decert petition. The vote was 4 months ago, but the NLRB refuses to schedule a vote count. Most of the strikers were permanently replaced so their votes won't count. The votes by replacements will count. The delay is unacceptable. Count the votes!
@checkmate1o1 @AtWillCableguy Checkmate, thanks for reminding us why we don't want the union. Conflict, harassment and a failure to see how the union screwed this up and ruined many lives. No sense in responding to you further. In the meantime, we'll keep doing our jobs while we wait for the vote count.
@Concerned_3 We are reacting to L3's harassment and threats like any rational person would. We state facts and reveal L3's lies. They can't debate the facts so they say we must not be employees, we must be fake. Our ballots are real and we voted "no". #votenolocal3
NLRB mails ballots to Charter/Spectrum voters today. All the lies and scare tactics by Local 3 and it's supporters have not changed our minds. VOTE NO!
L3 is panicked because we get to vote based on its record of lies, harassment and threats against us and the company. L3 and its supporters ridicule us for our choice but offer no apologies or explanation for L3's actions. Each insult and denial confirms our choice. #votenolocal3
Facts- L3 harassed and threatened us for 2 years, wants to kick us out of our jobs, failed in negotiations, is trying to get Charter kicked out of NY, wasted $3 million of members' dues in failed boycott and destroyed the lives of loyal striking members. #votenolocal3
Signs of desperation from L3 supporters. Name calling, scare tactics and conspiracy theories. The only facts they shared are the history of unions and old perks in expired L3 contracts that L3 failed to secure for us. Pathetic. #votenolocal3
@barco_luis Relax, it's a blank sample ballot. We first posted this sample over a week ago. Those of us who got the official ballots yesterday and today already mailed in our "no" votes.
@fasulo_chris Yes, the company assured us in writing we will remain in our jobs even if the strike ends. Local 3 however has made clear it wants us out of our jobs. This is why it is an easy choice for us. Local 3 must go. #votenolocal3
The real losers here are the strikers. After nearly 2 years, only 850 left out of 1800. L3's lies and refusal to reach a contract have ruined them. Unions are supposed to protect loyal members, not destroy them. #votenolocal3
L3 supporters urge a vote for union "To keep your benefits and pension and to get a fair contract." Really? Over 2 yrs, L3 called a strike, filed bogus charges, threatened ee's, enlisted politicians, wasted $3 million on failed boycott, still no contract. It's over. #votenolocal3
Local 3 has a record of failing to protect members. It takes courage for a member to take on the union. Imagine how many more members Local 3 refused to help but they were afraid to take action. #votenolocal3#facts
@DrKTaylor1 Now there is no contract to show us. Other IBEW locals reached new contracts after Charter walked away from union medical/pension. Local 3 took a different path - total self destruction. Sadly, it took the strikers down the same path. #local3failed#votenolocal3
Local 3 and it's cheerleaders tell us we need Local 3 because "without a contract we are unprotected". Can someone from Local 3 show us the contract? Oh wait, that's right, there is no contract after 2 years of failed negotiations. #local3failed#votenolocal3
Ballots will start arriving today. This is our chance to remove the threat that wants to kick us out of our jobs and is trying to destroy the company. Vote No! #votenolocal3

The decertification of Local 3 at Charter/Spectrum could be the biggest union decert in NYC history. A union has to screw up pretty bad to be decertified in NYC, a "union town" with very pro-union city and state leaders. Yep, Local 3 is that bad. #votenolocal3
If Local 3 wanted to have a relationship with current employees, it shouldn't have started off with threats and harassment. It's clear the union never expected us to have the power to decide with a vote. Local 3 knows what's coming.
