This is 60 starlink satellites stacked together to compact down volume for launch. This design is one of the most important reason why space access has become more frequent not just for SpaceX but also for the entire Space industry in general.
Incredible piece of technology that literally changed the world
I am a newbie to #spacetech, yet this report was so easy to follow, fun and highly informative. It also shows the value in building in Indian spacetech. @chartingchange_@happy_tweets5 amazing read!

@SpaceX plans to launch a MILLION satellites in space. This will work as orbital data centers, a solar-powered network generating 100GW of #AI compute capacity annually. (1/n)
And the already crowded orbit, and extended debris problem - 75% of tracked objects are debris. LEO's sustainable capacity is around 100,000 satellites.
This plan asks for 10x that limit. (5/n)
Fun fact.
Japan employs falconers at solar farms.
Crows attack solar power plants with stones, and the only effective way to keep crows away is to deploy falcons. One trained falcon making 60 attack sorties a day can protect 100,000 solar panels from vengeful crows.
This is where ISRO enters the conversation.
ISRO is building SSLV (Small Satellite Launch Vehicle)
Democratising Space. On Demand. Low Cost.
$/T for Falcon 9-$6.4M
$/T for ISRO SSLV-$8.4M
Falcon 9 doesn't fly till 22.8T of payload is booked.
SSLV flies with 0.5T. Yes, 500kg!

Cycle se chaand tak! 🚀
That too, on the other side, Moon’s south pole.
We have launched 433 satellites for 34 nations with 97% reliable rockets.
All set to take up Space. 🇮🇳
Excited for what’s next?

NISAR is one big step closer to beginning its mission to study Earth’s changing surfaces 🌏
Today, the satellite successfully unfurled its 39-foot-wide (12-meter-wide) antenna reflector. It’s the largest reflector NASA has ever deployed in space! https://t.co/UheChxU7Ou
