Unpopular Opinion: Grades are overrated

I figured this out on time so i never bothered about being top in my class even though i was smart enough to be.

Never went to night class, did group reading or any extra work to top my CGPA. I just needed to pass, enough to make me scale to the next level

CGPA is not an accurate or reliable measure of knowledge, they only measure how much you can pen down on a sheet of paper. So if you figure out a way to sneak in answers, copy someone else, sleep with/bribe the lecturer or cram the answers you’d pass regardless. How does that prove you know anything?

In the real world you can’t cram or sneak in answers. Focus more on how to win in the real world not at your grades.

You wanna compete with those who don't use SL on prop accounts after all they bought the account with "free money." These are the ones you wanna compete with?

You wanna compete with those who risk $2k to make $1k on their prop account?

You wanna compete with those who have access to influencers who can give them free account?

You wanna compete with those who are from a well-to-do family. Who can get money from their family to buy account?

You wanna compete with those who has never maintained an account pass two months? Hence jumping around in the name of stacking accounts?

These are the ones you wanna compete with? These are the ones you see as motivation to pass your accounts with one trade? These are the ones you wanna follow in their similitude?

Remember your mum in the village who still fries akara to put things in place. Remember if this your account goes, to get another one would be hard. Remember how you hustled real bad to get this your current account. Don't be swayed with the timeline gimmicks. Not necessarily because it's false, but because you must stay true to yourself.

While you see those things from them as possibilities, never be delusional about your reality.
