I live in a small town. People get annoyed when I try to speak up. I try my best to talk about Gaza and explain the evil that is happening there every day, to make people aware that there is more than the small world they are living in. 1/?
With the announcement that Destiny 2's development is ceasing I think it's important to reiterate that the original Destiny is still very much at risk at being lost forever much like Destiny 2's base game and early expansions.
I can only hope Destiny receives an offline update of some form officially so the game can be preserved forever without dedicated fans having to reverse-engineer the servers themselves (which is still very work-in-progress IIRC).
The first Destiny is the only Destiny game that is a complete experience form start to finish with proper progression, no removed content and a coherent art direction, it needs to be preserved.

Who believed that "if they only released the hostages"? Who believed in the ceasefire?
After killing 500+ people in about 3 months, Israel- armed and supported by the US - continues its genocide in Gaza undisturbed.
Don't let it become the new normal. Stand up against genocide!
Even if God were to forgive the Israelis, which I doubt, I could never forgive them for what they did to us.
Watch Halema’s story: a Palestinian who was forced from her village at 15 yo and has lived as a refugee ever since.

🔴 “There’s a killing mechanism that has been created… [by] the U.S. and Israel together. They have made conditions in Gaza so deplorable, so incompatible with human life.. These conditions are completely manufactured. And now, you don’t need a single bomb to continue killing people.”

The world moved on the moment this fiction of a ceasefire was announced, turning away from the ongoing catastrophic consequences of over two years of genocide.
This is the danger of framing it as a ‘war’ - it assumes the horror ends with a pause.
Last week, I traveled to Florida to join 16-year-old Mohammed Ibrahim for his return to the US after nearly a year in Israeli military detention. We fished, kayaked, played chess, ate obscene amounts of ice cream, and talked for hours about what he endured. This is his story 🔗👇
Keep in mind that for two years, Israel bombed hospitals and arrested and executed Palestinian doctors in Gaza, forcing medical students to step into roles that, anywhere else in the world, only seasoned specialists would handle.
Day after day, for two years, they performed life-saving procedures with barely any equipment, often without anesthesia, under constant threat. And despite all of that, they still studied, sat for their exams, and graduated.
This isn’t just a ceremony. It’s a testament to resilience, sacrifice, and an unbreakable commitment to life. Congratulations to these doctors. You earned every letter after your name in ways no one should ever have to.
May Allah protect you, preserve you, and make you a means of healing and mercy for our people.
Someone outside of Gaza purchased a large amount of food supplies, of various types, enough to feed a family of five for five to seven days, for approximately $70.
When I saw the amount of food, I was shocked — because the same supplies in Gaza would cost around $500. And in order to actually receive $500, we often have to send about $700, sometimes even more, due to constantly changing transfer fees inside Gaza.
The occupation takes deliberate pleasure in our suffering. Thousands of trucks loaded with humanitarian aid have been standing at the crossings for nearly two years, denied entry. And on the rare occasions when aid is allowed in, it is not distributed to those in need — instead, it is handed to traders and sold in the markets at outrageously high prices.
