Isaiah saw the Lord high and exalted in the temple and fell down as dead man; we see the Lord high and exalted on the cross and rise alive for the first time.

On Jan 18, I offered a challenge to LDS:
1. Read ONLY the NT for 30 days
2. Pray w/ real intent to know if any of the Non-LDS interpret the NT correctly.
On Feb. 7, ~20 days later, I asked if anyone had taken it up.
Results:
5 or 6 good conversations
3 took up the challenge
2 said they would do it later
1 said on 2/17 that he had finished it
several said they do it all the time
Many flames
Many haughty & defensive responses
3 challenges for me to repeat Moroni's challenge, which I first did in 1978, then 1986, and now, again, in 2026.
It is now March 15, 36 days after Feb 7. Would anyone who took the challenge care to comment on any discoveries, epiphanies, thoughts, or observations?
In a few days, I will publish an article on having re-read the BoM, but wanted to give an opportunity for others to speak first.
https://t.co/mMth5wx3U6 appears to be down, and I can't remember the last time that happened. I imagine - unconfirmed - that it has to do with the Iran war. Perhaps the drone strikes, or even a cyber attack?

A Challenge for LDS:
You, and allegedly Moroni, challenge us Christians to read the BoM and to pray to know if it is true.
Read nothing but the New Testament for One Month. Then pray to know if the Christians are right.
Pray with real intent.
Just launched a new podcast with the Great Commission Association. Every Church Flourishing is all about church health and church life, and features discussion relevant to anybody interested in Jesus and the Great Commission. We also review a wild and wacky soda - like Lester's Fixins Ranch Dressing Soda - on every episode. I'd be grateful if you could check it out and subscribe! Subscribe at https://t.co/5v34RlUwAe or https://t.co/yAQtBhCiSj. The Podfollow link will take you to Apple Podcasts on an iPhone, and our website otherwise.
Christianity that spreads by violence, or anger, or enmity, or cultural war, or insults, or hatred, or conquering is like a power plant that runs on high-ash coal, or unshielded radioactive materials, or a campfire that burns plastic. You will appear to be generating power, but it is dirty power that kills more than it helps.
"As you know, like a father with his own children, 12 we encouraged, comforted, and implored each one of you to walk worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory." 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12, an underrated verse about pastoring and fathering. #pastor#pastoring #QuotesOfTheDay
