I wish some news source outside of Utah (like NYT or ESPN) would do a study to quantify Utah rivalry hostility compared to other areas. If this has already been done, I'd love to know where it is.

@jaromjordan Definitely most valuable guard. BYU wouldn't have been top 3 in the WCC without him. I don't even want to think about how many games we would have lost without him...😭

@Kent_in_Utah @geoffjBYU We need to remember that we lost to UMass last year. I don't think playing worse teams last year would have helped us. That year would have been bad regardless of who we were playing.

@Kent_in_Utah @geoffjBYU I agree. Utah had the same thing moving to the Pac-12. Their first couple of years were a little rough.

BYU's schedule felt appealing when it was booked but the team regressed AND got hit with a harder schedule. That's a rough combo.
