@ctvsaskatoon Please bring back the city wide herbicide program. All parks are over run with weeds and look terrible. Its time to bring back common sense and stop giving people like this the time of day.

@bigmothufacking Grew about 1000 acres of that stuff last year. Nicest looking canola I have ever seen. Got about 5 feet tall and then started lodging quite bad. In the end 340 yielded the same with less harvest issues so I dropped the 356. It is a beautiful plant though.
@BARippe @jsonwho73 Interesting. In this part of the world the average is 7.5-10 gal/ac. Lots of guys cut back to 5 gal/ac and get good control. The odd time if there is a large kochia problem you can do a pass with 15gal/ac but thats pretty rare.
@BARippe @jsonwho73 20 Gal/ac? I think I found your productivity problem! Unless things are different in your part of the world there is no need for that much water with Liberty.
This is insane. Nearly $800 for an economy seat to fly Saskatoon to Calgary on a random midweek trip. We NEED more airline competition in this country. @WestJet@KevinWaugh_CPC
@davidocker286 SK guy here. Whats the reason for pre working it so aggressively? Is this just a cotton thing or is it common practice for all crops in your area?
@minijarjar@cityofsaskatoon We had virtually zero snow last winter and the city was still “over budget” on the snow removal. We need better financial management in general.
@Zbolt007 $150 pencils out for a lot of guys in WC SK. You can’t service the debt for $150/ac if you were to buy the land therefore guys see renting as a viable option.
@drewcarlsonhp Disagree on this one. I think its hugely important to give young kids (U11) feed back after every shift. A simple “great pass out there” or “great shift but maybe try such and such next time to see if that works” goes a long ways with kids.
@BantrySeedFarms@JMCampbellFarms I also had a similar experience. Had a 2020 3L and was perfect until 100,000 km after that it spent 12 straight weeks in the shop. Non stop emission and transmission issues. Sales guy wouldnt even let me order new one because all the techs hate the 3L. Ended up going full size
