I'm like my daughter’s room 5 minutes after cleaning it—a big mess. But I'm also a freaking rock star. Film lover. Screenwriter. Novelist. Adjunct. MFA
@heymrconnor I went and saw Alfonso Cuaron screen the finale of Disclaimer last week. He had a lot to say about the use of voiceover and the different points of view in those voice overs. He also said he’s done with voiceovers and will likely never use them again lol.
It's 3am, do you know where your kids are?
Seriously, though, after 23 years I finally wrote my "Where were you when...?" story about my experience on 9/11. So here it is.

@CinematicScott But there’s a lot of bad and a lot of crazy that comes with the good. I joined during wartime, right when we invaded Iraq. It’s a miracle I’m still alive.
@CinematicScott Paid for my undergrad degree, one grad degree, and half of another grad degree. It also gave me a housing allowance while going to school. I also became a Korean linguist and gained 3 years of work experience at the NSA. And the travel was good, too.
The Truman Show is one of my all-time favorite films. So many great moments, fantastic writing, amazing acting, and it has what has to be objectively one of the all-time greatest endings.
I didn’t watch the debate. I watched something far more entertaining: Madame Web.
But for real, our country is doomed, but this movie is better than what critics have said. Flawed, but not bad. The movie. Not the country. The country is awful. 0 stars. 2 thumbs down.
