I think there needs to be a huge callout that there are tons of talented devs who are contractors who are all losing their jobs tomorrow and won’t get severance or health care.
Tons of people’s lives are be upended and need help with finding new jobs.
It's actually incredibly damning of our medical system that you need to basically expect to be some perfect self-advocate to maybe get through it to get help and a ton of people just accept that as normal. And what's to be done if you're unable to do that for any reason?
