@avanzabank@montrose_io hur kommer det sig att Strive Pref (SATA) har grå köpknapp på Avanza dvs går inte köpa. Men på Montrose verkar det gå? Måste jag byta?
@iamAlwaysMister@TheBTCTherapist The Bitcoin network has been battle-tested for over 15 years with zero successful attacks on the core protocol. It has absolute scarcity, decentralized security, neutrality, and transferability at scale. It’s digital gold, but harder, divisible, portable, and anyone can verify it
@particular_flow@BitcoinTeacher_ Dude you brought it up. Why spread FUD?
The example with Berkshire was to exemplify what you were actually saying. There would be no difference in seizing Strategys BTC to seizing Berkshire’s dollars. It’s exactly the same.
@particular_flow@BitcoinTeacher_ It was you who pointed out the risk that Strategy was seized because of their BTC holdings. Strategy is a public company that hold Bitcoin.
@particular_flow@BitcoinTeacher_ The us government also seize US dollars from criminals. Do you think there is a risk that the government seizes Bershire Hathaway? they do have a big US dollar treasury chest.
@particular_flow@BitcoinTeacher_ Ok it’s not okay to seize companies that produce profits but it’s ok to seize companies if they claim to be a treasury of bitcoin, got it!
@Axel_Mnvn MSTR also Issue STRC which could be described as a preferred loan. They borrow your money and pay you 11,5% yearly interest with monthly payouts ROC.
They buy Bitcoin with the proceeds.
This doesn’t dilute MSTR stock.
@crypto_defiguy@blockchainchick MSTR don’t buy STRC. Buyers will buy the shares and collect the dividend instead. If someone dumps alot price might go down yield may rise and buyers also get higher yield in relation to buy price. Then price recovers and when it’s at 100 or more again MSTR sells more STRC.
