me at 6:45 pm: eh the results tonight can only stress me out. prob just gonna ignore them entirely :)
me at 9:45 pm: WHERE ARE THE REST OF THE VOTES FROM MECKLENBURG COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA
I know I will get killed by Titans fans for this take, but I really believe firing Mike Vrabel will go down right with the AJ Brown trade as one of the worst decisions in franchise history.
Yes, the team had a terrible stretch the last season and a half but you HAVE to look at the context. He won 6 games last year with a team that probably had 1 win talent.
They were always handcuffed by the Tannehill cap hit so he hadn’t been able to add an influx of talent like the team did this offseason.
He had to deal with league leading injuries, historically bad offensive line performance and one of the worst WR rooms the NFL has seen in recent years. Yet, in 2022 he was still a few minutes away from a playoff birth with Josh Dobbs, and last season he won 6 games with a roster that had no business winning more than maybe 2-3.
It was supposed to be the off season you finally gave your HC who had shown the ability to legitimately compete for a Super Bowl 200+ million to fix the roster.
Instead, you put your trust in a completely different unproven regime and now we are back to square one. Worse than we ever were in the Vrabel era.
Genuinely whole-heartedly believe Vrabel would have this team AT WORST 3-2 right now. This would be the most talented Team Vrabel had since 2020.
Dark days ahead
