@saniyafatma1278 I hate having fake nails on. My real nails feel suffocated. I like paint but it’s a chore to do them myself and I prioritize other self care over having them done
@elenadesaa1999 I had the same number my whole life until my mom put me on a plan with her and her husband, but he went to prison and she went to jail and Cricket wouldn’t let me pay it bc I wasn’t the account holder. They couldn’t call to approve bc they were incarcerated. My new # is ugly 😭
the pigeon doesn’t understand your disdain for it; it coos for you anyway. the tree does not know you own an axe for it; its leaves sway in the sun anyway. the starving cat eats the poison you put out. it doesn’t know how not to trust. the earth forgives you, in spite of yourself
@jennniiival This prof sucks. My papaw died while mid semester while I had one of my strictest profs and I emailed him asking if there was any way I could take our proctored midterm exam at a later date and he quickly replied granting me an extension. If he could do that, this prof could too.
@venusian_doll I went to the ER last month and my insurance called me the next day to remind me that urgent care is cheaper. It was 3am and urgent care wasn’t open when I needed it. 🤦🏼♀️
A lot of people are under the mistaken impression that progress means advances in tech. Real progress is kids who are literate, free meals for public school students, a culture in which human art & poetry are celebrated. We're regressing rapidly & the only way forward is to read.
@aliast6469 My parents got me two chihuahuas- Tink when I was 1 & Oreo when I was 2. They lived to be 17 and almost 19, they made it to college with me. They were my sisters and I still miss them everyday years later. It will never be easy, but it does get easier. ♥️
I filed a claim with my dog’s health insurance for death services and to my surprise not only did they cover most of the expenses they sent me a handwritten letter and called me to tell me how sorry they are which feels like something a human insurance company would never do
@missmayn@girlpowertbh I remember the “past your fingertips” rule where you put your arms straight down and shorts/skirts/dresses had to be past your fingertip. I HATED this because I have long arms and it wasn’t universal
