our Kia minivan’s engine also died at 160,000 miles. Regular maintenance and checks all done on time. Nothing covered by insurance. The runaround we’ve gotten from the dealership paired with the lack of reliability has turned us from a @Kia family to a “never again”. 😱😭😤 3/3
In Nov ‘23 our 2016 Kia Sorento had engine failure as we were driving home from thanksgiving. We had it looked at and took it to local dealer hoping to have it examined to see if it qualified for a recall having to do with coolant leak. Since then the dealership has been… 1/3
“waiting on Kia to release testing to determine if our car is covered”.
Today, the customer service rep told my husband they would have it impounded at the end of the week if we didn’t remove it from their lot. No news on the recall/testing determination. In the meantime 2/3
@ErickaAndersen@RisenMotherhood had a series of podcast episodes a couple years ago about school choice with @jenniferwilkin sharing about public school. Whole series was super helpful to me!
Instead of hot girl summer I'm gonna do croc girl summer.
We're gonna ride bikes, drink water from the hose, embrace our weird, wonderful bodies and live fully this summer--all in our beloved crocs. #crocgirlsummer
@ARPDeWitt Our church has a lot going on (fitness classes, cheer, small groups outside church) I’d say that a big part of why not is staffing...locking up, supervising, running sound, cleaning the building. It could easily be a full time position just managing scheduling and facilitating.
God leaves behind the 99 pretty and pleasant parts of you to find and hold the one part of you that feels most broken and unloveable.
There is no part of you that the Good Shepherd will not seek and follow to extend goodness and love.
And yet, grace.
And yet, growth.
No matter how imperfect and unruly your life is hold onto hope—there is grace for the mess.
And often the biggest growth of our lives is IN THE MESS.
Recently in my mastermind, we were talking about our journey's of blogging and entrepreneurship. Thinking back on that journey, I LOVE everything I've built through my blog and all the opportunities it's brought me, but I know my gift isn't blogging or writing.
I often feel like God leads us to different seasons of expressions in our gifts to help us grow, to keep us flexible, and to teach us to trust Him. As I’ve released this to Him, it’s been such a huge sigh of relief— I didn’t even realize I was gripping my gift SO tightly.
I’m reading through with @thebiblerecap + journaling in an ESV journaling Bible as I go! I hope this Bible and it’s notes become a testament to Gods work in me in 2021🙌🏼❤️
Wrapped up reading the book of Deuteronomy! I’m a big fan of quitting Bible reading plans when they don’t serve you and I’m DELIGHTED to be still delighting in reading through the Bible chronologically! 📖
