NEW: The Leon County Commission votes to hire the Southern Group as its lobbying firm for both federal and state issues.
Vote was 6-1, Minor against.
By directly hiring the Southern Group, the commission didn’t do its normal bid process.
Two other firms will be terminated.

I’m back in courtroom 3G today for @WCTV . Donna Adelson is here for a pre-trial hearing ahead of her trial in a few weeks. She is charged with conspiring to murder her former son-in-law, Dan Markel.
Now, they’re discussing some transcripts of recordings — Dolce Vita, wire calls, and a restaurant where Harvey and Charlie met.
“You leave it up to the jury to hear what they hear,” Rashbaum said.
