Start building a relationship. A relationship between you and Allah ﷻ holy book.
Start off reciting everyday. Even if it’s just a bit. Then improve your recitation, by listening very sensitively to recitations. And be honest with yourself, search the room for improvement.
@wtbnaher Connecting this to your initial tweet, I think no it’s worse right now to cut him off as you will miss the chance to explain it to him later ohne Fußball WM Fieber. For me it’s similar to calling out people to boycott some brands. It’s good to remind but can’t force change
@wtbnaher Yeah but him rooting for Argentina or not seems very negligible in the general context of regime etc. seems not enough to call someone out. To point out the connection yh but if people can’t see it and when they just want to continue the actual football on the surface so be it
@wtbnaher Hmm yh if it’s beyond football then we gotta be consistent with confronting people about moral topics, be it with lacking participation in activism or the support of boycotted brands / celebrities etc imo
Me and my wife wrote down all the things we’ve wanted to do and put them in a hat to pick at random
This weekend we picked a cabin in the woods + Stonehenge 🌲
@wtbnaher@uncleXbirb Huh but aren’t you just nullifying mainstream Islam with that statement? Surely most interpretations of the Quran are based on ahadith. Those that we see as misogynistic today might have been the norm & these ahadtih need to be checked validity individually. Idek which you mean
Beauty, identity, and self-expression are all deeply personal things but for some people egocentric bias leads them to assume that their own preferences are the standard by which everyone else’s should be judged
Always go with the flow. Accept your current role, your current attributes, skills, possibilities, opportunities, and limitations. Making the best of every situation will help you to be the best version of yourself in every phase in life
