Outside the window,
the sky was slowly turning into night.

Watching the AIRDO wing,
I spent a while looking outside.

Before I knew it,
the lights of Tokyo had begun to spread below.

The warm soup I had at the end
brought a small part of the journey back to me.

watched it freeze almost instantly,
and found myself laughing a little.

The clione

オホーツク流氷館。

タオルを振り回して、
一瞬で凍って、
少し笑っていた。

クリオネは、
青い海の中を静かに漂っていた。

気づけば、
流氷ソフトクリームを食べながら、
しばらくそこにいた。

When I came here to see the drift ice,
this was the place I found while searching for a meal.

The dumplings I had that day
stayed in my memory for a long time.

There was even a day in March
when I booked a flight
just to come back and eat them again.

But after seeing the heavy snow along the Senmo Line,
I returned straight to Kushiro instead.

When I finally made it back,
the dumplings felt a little different
from the ones I remembered.

Still,
I found myself sitting here again.

流氷を見に来た時、
ご飯を探していて見つけた場所。

あの日食べた餃子が、
ずっと記憶に残っていた。

3月、
この餃子を食べるためだけに
航空券を取った日もあった。

けれど、
大雪の釧網線を見て、
そのまま釧路へ戻った。

ようやく来られたと思ったら、
記憶の中の餃子とは、
少し違っていた気がした。

それでも、
またここに座っていた。

Even though I was in Abashiri,
the place I remembered was Hakodate.

Hakodate Airport to the left,
Tachimachi Cape to the right.

The time I once spent walking along Omori Coast
slowly began returning from memory.

I walked from Abashiri Station toward the sea.
22°C, strong winds, clear skies.

Maybe I could still get on.
I hurried straight to the Aurora terminal.

It was canceled.

Still,
the sea I saw from the 2F observation terrace
felt quietly comforting.

I’m here now,
searching for the time
I couldn’t find at Kitahama Station.

欠航だった。
けれど、2Fの展望テラスから見えた海は、とても心地良かった。

北浜駅で降りられなかった時間を、
