“I’ve now been disrupted at a podcast about Jewish entrepreneurs, at the opening of a Jewish community centre, and at a fireside chat about building companies. None of those events had anything to do with politics. The only common thread is me, a proud Jew, on a stage.”
Thank you @harleyf for saying it like it is.

In almost two decades of building together, @tobi has never once hesitated to stand with me when antisemitism shows up. No hedging. No silence. Just shoulder to shoulder, every f’ing time.
That is what real friendship look like.
The event was not “disrupted” by “protest”. It was a hateful attack by a notorious antisemite.
This event had nothing to do with Israel, Harley was attacked because he is Jewish, it’s that simple.
Jewish Canadians and business leaders are facing a level of harassment and intimidation that is completely out of line with our values. We must make it clear that these are hate crimes, prosecute them quickly, and ensure the punishment is a sufficient deterrent to future bad behavior.
A diverse and multicultural society demands a shared understanding of the rule of law, and mutual respect in disagreement, especially as they relate to foreign conflicts.
This should dominate the news: Hiking the industrial carbon tax 19% while Ontario auto shrinks is like raising rent on a building the tenants have already vacated.
No EU deal. 5 quarters of falling investment. 40% of manufacturing firms eyeing a move to the US. Ford's plant hasn't shipped a vehicle in 2 years. GM & Stellantis keep cutting.
Slow. Quiet. Inevitable. And preventable. Still no deal. No news. No update.
What happened at @startupfest yesterday was antisemitism. Pure & simple. Disguised under a thin veil of advocacy, and everyone in the room saw right through it.
I was on stage with Georges St-Pierre talking about entrepreneurship. Not politics. A man burst in screaming horrible accusations at me anyway. Third time in 2 years, including at the opening of a Jewish community centre.
My parents were in the front row. I'll never forget their faces.
When the target is always the Jew and never the topic, it's not advocacy. It's hate.
The room booed him down and cheered as he was walked out. I'm grateful for that.
Hate got escorted out. We got right back to building.

Eastern Canadian refineries should be powered by Western Canadian energy - not from overseas. 🇨🇦
Premier Doug Ford and I are advancing a new West-East pipeline called the Northern Shield Energy Corridor connecting Alberta oil to Ontario refineries, and eventually, European markets.
This nation building project would initially move 500,000 to 800,000 barrels per day, create tens of thousands of jobs, strengthen our economy, and help Canada receive full value for our world class resources.
Alberta has the energy Canada that the world needs. Now it’s time to build the infrastructure to deliver it.
This was the right choice.
That said, both TKMS & Hanwha should be commended for responding quickly & passionately to this rapid procurement. Both have very good designs and the process deepened our strong relationship with South Korea as a key ally & economic powerhouse. 1/4
Fantastic news!
It's so encouraging to see this major new submarine program moving forward for the @RoyalCanNavy.
Full credit to Prime Minsiter @MarkJCarney for this and other game changing investments in Canada's national defence.
Another sign that Canada is getting serious about defending its sovereignty.

96% of Canadian crude oil is refined south of the border.
The infrastructure needed to transport and refine Western Canada crude in Eastern Canada refineries has been sorely missing amid tariffs and geopolitical uncertainty.
This is a positive stride toward energy independence.
"CANADA HAS NO PRODUCTIVITY GROWTH"
David Rosenberg says Canada's unit labour costs are rising around 8% annually, versus near 0% in the U.S.
His warning:
If nothing changes, the Canadian dollar may not stop at 1.50 USD/CAD... it could eventually head toward 1.60+.
This is why productivity matters.
Congratulations To PM Carney & Premiers Smith & Eby On A Pipeline Agreement
I'll call out the Prime Minister's handling of the Energy File often & I still think the Carbon Capture, Emission Limit stuff is just nuts but let's all be happy when more Oil gets to tide water

This👇 is word for word the case that I and other Albertans have been making for years.
Fellow Albertans: well done! We have won the argument about the need to expand Canada's energy industry!
Yes, words are necessary but not sufficient. We need to see them turned into real, tangible projects.
But we should celebrate the progress we have made, and take "yes" for an answer.
I am officially nominating Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) for the Nobel Peace Prize.
No President in History has ended the same war so many times.
Our Dear Leader has ended the war with Iran at least 38 times by CNN’s count.
No President has ever done this before.
And he is nowhere near finished ending it.
It’s a record worthy of the Nobel committee’s recognition. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
On Canada Day, we give thanks for the inheritance entrusted to us by our founders: a country rooted in freedom, responsibility, and a shared commitment to one another strengthened by generations of Canadians who built, served, and sacrificed.
Laureen and I wish everyone a Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦
On this day in 1980, O Canada officially became Canada's national anthem.
First performed for a Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day ceremony in 1880, it was composed by Calixa Lavallée with words by Sir Adolphe-Basile Routhier.
From 1939 to 1980, it was the de facto national anthem.
