So pleased that Alaa is not only free but reunited with his family in the UK. I’ll always remember the sheer determination of his family led by his mother Laila who went on hunger strike to free him. An incredible woman #FreedAlaa
The government’s treatment of the young people in prison associated with Palestine Action is shaming our country in the eyes of the world. https://t.co/cnelSJBF8t
this is worse than stalingrad at this point. what zionists have done is worse than the damage left by stalingrad. this is the equivalent of nuking an entire city. this is the equivalent of a slow hiroshima
Graham Linehan is on trial for serial harassment of a 17-year-old. These women went out of their way not only to support him, but also to grossly misrepresent the nature of his trial.
So-called gender criticals really don't care about keeping kids safe from weird old men.
Four people accused of spraying red paint on two military planes at RAF Brize Norton, face 18 months in prison before trial.
That far exceeds the 6 month pre-trial custody time limit.
This is how Britain treats those accused of disrupting the Gaza genocide.
Has Akehurst been feeding a foreign state secrets from UK intelligence?
If so, it would prove that at least one MP is working for a foreign state against the citizens of the UK.
Ckealry, most of them are, but you get the point.
You can repair a plane. You can replace a broken window. But you can’t bring back the dead.
We must defend the right to protest.
Solidarity with Palestine Action 🇵🇸
The decision by Labour to ban Palestine Action after activists damaged a plane at Brize Norton is unsurprising. Cooper is the most reactionary and authoritarian Home Secretary since Suella Braverman. The young people involved in Palestine Action are among the most courageous and admirable activists in this country. They are not terrorists. They don't attack humans. The certainly vandalise offices and weaponry that is being used in the genocide. They act on behalf of those women and children who are being mercilessly exterminate in Palestine today. A majority of British citizens oppose Israel and the state of terror it has unleashed in five countries. All those of us opposed to the genocide must defend the young militants of Palestine Action or will that too be made crime?
Just remember: the world could have stopped the genocide in Gaza.
We will not stop campaigning until our government finally wakes up, ends its complicity in crimes against humanity, and stops arming Israel.
🚨One of the two RAF planes targeted by Palestine Action at Brize Norton has tail number ZZ338.
This plane was used to support US airstrikes on Yemen in February 2024, conducted in no small part to shield Israel from the consequences of its genocide in Gaza.
This is absolutely heroic. If the government will attempt to insulate “foreign” & “defence” policy from public feeling and very basic morality, direct action to stop that is necessary.
Salute to the brave telecommunications heroes in Gaza — they restored the internet line amidst heavy bombing, risking their own lives. They brought our voices back from the heart of a silent genocide 📡💔
For the past 20 months, UK government ministers — Conservative and Labour — have aided and abetted crimes against humanity.
Recently, some politicians have attempted to backtrack and change their tune. Perhaps they are frightened by the consequences of their complicity.
If they had any integrity, they would weep for the 61,000+ Palestinians who died as a result of their moral and political cowardice.
We will not rest until the government finally listens to the demand being made by millions of people of all backgrounds and faiths: end all arms sales to Israel, now.
Momentum is shifting. We will expose the full scale of UK complicity in genocide. We will bring about justice. And we will continue to campaign for the only path to peace: the liberation of Palestine.
