In addition to a rapidly falling fertility rate, India today faces another demographic challenge of illegal immigration and unnatural #DemographicChange.

As a counter to this, the Prime Minister has announced the ‘High-Powered Demography Mission’. This initiative aims to counter #IllegalImmigration, prevent unnatural demographic shifts in border regions and safeguard the livelihoods and lands of indigenous and vulnerable populations.

A nation’s demographic future is secured in two ways: by preventing unnatural demographic distortions and by ensuring natural demographic renewal. This future will be secured only when #children are recognised not merely as a personal choice but as the carriers of a nation's future, culture and prosperity.

At a time when geopolitical blocs are sharply polarised, India is buying discounted oil from #Russia while investing in energy infra in US — incl. a refinery project personally highlighted by President #Trump.

Simultaneously, India is co-developing high-end defence tech with #Israel while maintaining such cordial ties with Iran that even amid the closure of #StraitOfHormuz, Iran has allowed Indian ships & tankers to pass.

India has also provided humanitarian shelter to #Iran’s sailors and extended emergency food assistance to Gulf partners like #UAE.

US strategist Col. @DougAMacgregor says India is a rising world power trusted across global divides. Ex-UAE Ambassador Hussain Hassan Mirza similarly said one call from the Indian PM to Israel and Iran could end the issue.
