(2) I once made a mistake at an event, angering the sponsor. Very upset, I spoke with Dr Irwin about it and was worried I had disappointed him. He shared a story about a mistake he once made and gave me confidence to learn and move forward. I will always remember his kindness.
Dr. Dick Irwin was someone that I always looked up to, and I was thrilled when I got the @uofmemphis offer that I would be able to work with him. Learning from him has been a highlight of my career. He will be missed very much. (1 of 2)
