Skipping a meal is not the same as calorie deficit. It just keeps your insulin levels low for as long as possible. Time restricted eating is a key unlock for weight loss but it is definitely not a calorie deficit. Speaking as someone who counted calories as part of TRE. @UKhotfoodchat

@DaveEDanna I used to get these at Red, Hot & Blue. Best Iโve ever had. I think they discontinued them and not even sure the restaurant exists anymore.
@CaryKelly11 Iโve been OMAD (dinner) and occasional lunches on vacation, social etc for over 3 yrs. Lost 30lbs and kept it off. Love this lifestyle. And Iโve tracked my calories. This is not caloric deprivation and I get the nutrients I need.
