This is Teacher Ashia with her new solar set! This means she can have light at her home in hours of darkness (to prepare lessons as it gets dark about 6 in Malawi) and she can also charge her work phone. We’ve provided a solar set for both teachers and another one at the school!

The school recently closed so the children and school staff can have a break. Here’s a photo from closing day, where Teacher Grace organised an examination paper for the children and their parents to complete. This helped to engage the parents with their children’s learning!

Here’s one of the students at the school writing numbers on the blackboard in a maths lesson.

The school didn’t always have a blackboard - it has recently been fitted while improvements have been taking place. It makes a massive difference for learning! 📚 #malawi #education

A temporary classroom has been set up so the children can still receive a good education while the building work is taking place to improve their learning environment. They’ve also been learning outside, thanks to Teacher Grace and Lucy, the school dog!
