@MHChat My advice is to listen to your body and mind and what they need in that moment. And to recognize that sometimes this takes priority over other tasks you would have normally completed. #MHChat
@MHChat As I work from home without AC I try and get out to a cool place to work at least a few times a week - whether it be a coffee shop or a building on campus. But I recognize how fortunate I am to have the means to do that. #MHChat
@MHChat I think it’s natural to not be able to be as productive in the heat and equally as natural to feel frustrated with that. During these time’s I just try and give myself more time and space as I move through my day. #MHChat
Finding yourself unable to settle in when you’re trying to study or work? Surround yourself with the color blue. Science tells us that blue is calming to our brains as we associate it with relaxing things in nature, such as the ocean or sky. 🌀
In difficult times, seek out the beauty around you. Create space for reflection outdoors. And schedule time where you can feel hope in the wind. We can do this.
