Candace Owens was arrested in October 2007, according to Stamford Police and released on $1,500 bond.

“The victim of an alleged hate crime in which the mayor's son was a suspect was arrested yesterday, accused of sending a threatening message from her Facebook. com account, police said. Candace Owens, 18…was charged yesterday with second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment.

Robert Owens, Candace's father, declined last night to comment on his daughter's arrest. Owens was released on $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear Oct. 26 in state Superior Court in Stamford.”

From one successful, self-made businesswoman to another, @MrsErikaKirk here’s my advice:

You stepped into a company and legacy you did not build. That comes with an enormous responsibility.

If you’re not qualified to run TPUSA, then have the humility to surround yourself with people who are and, more importantly, listen to them.

Stop the circus. Stop the spin. Stop treating legitimate questions like attacks.

If there are mistakes in your past, own them.If you’ve been dishonest, tell the truth. People can forgive mistakes. They can even forgive a messy past. What becomes unforgivable is looking people in the eye and expecting them to believe obvious contradictions.

And Charlie’s legacy?

It should not be collateral damage in a battle to protect a narrative.

You have the power to demand transparency, ask the hard questions and stop this from spiralling further.

From woman to woman put your ego aside. Protect the organisation, protect the legacy and, above all, stop insulting people’s intelligence.

The truth may hurt. But the lies will destroy whatever is left.

You call Charlie a potential killer because he cried the night Trump got re-elected. You go on and say it was because he said if Trump didn’t get re-elected Charlie would have ended up in jail. And then say “was he doing something illegal?” So you are in fact priming your viewers

This is borderline criminal misrepresentation of what I said.

Charlie repeatedly and publicly called Candace a friend and said he respected and liked her and would not distance himself from her. If TPUSA wants to say Charlie secretly said the exact opposite behind closed doors, that means Charlie was lying to the public because it is the opposite of his public positions about Candace.

The problem isn't me pointing out the consequences of TPUSA engaging in a campaign to say Charlie did not like Candace and was lying to the public.

The problem is TPUSA taking this position.
