Patrick Mahomes is not better than Josh Allen, Lamar, or Burrow. He was gifted Andy Reid, Kelce, Tyreek Hill, and a 10-win playoff team to begin his career. That’s the only reason people think he’s better. Give those 3 QBs what Mahomes had and they would do the EXACT same thing
If your favorite team’s second best player was out due to injury, you would keep bringing it up. But because it’s the Thunder, and many don’t like them, no one wants to mention how their second best player was out for the series
Memo to college coaches:
You do not need to chase head coaching jobs (where you’ll inevitably get fired). Instead, you can take the Dennis Simmons route where you attach yourself to a successful head coach and follow him from school to school, make millions, and have stability.

Question: does USC’s policy then mean that they don’t pursue/recruit players who are already committed to other schools? Or is it only a one way street?

Not to discredit anyone but this has everything to do with USC NOW having the NIL funding to get these players after Lincoln Riley pushed hard for it
If Bowden had a middle of the pack NIL budget, these players would not come to USC no matter how good his recruiting chops are
NEW: #USC's recruiting transformation under Chad Bowden has been absolutely insane🔥
2025: No. 15 class, 24% from California
2026: No. 1 class, 50% from California
2027: 71% commits from California (so far)
Thoughts? 🤔

@ChrisNTrevino Chris - how should USC fans feel about the fact that there have been no defensive front 7 players drafted under Lincoln Riley? (Tuli obviously doesn’t count)
This will be mocked. As maybe it should. All he is referring to is their NIL funding. You have to ask yourself why it took until 2026 for USC, of all places, to have the #1 recruiting class. To me that means the NIL support just wasn’t there in prior years
NEW: Lincoln Riley believes USC has now entered its championship window, he tells @whalexander_✌️
“Taking this over, you knew you had to go fight like hell just to try to get this window opened.”

Heisman
National Championship
#1 Overall NFL Draft Pick
All are there for him to go get this season
@brian_basil@FTFonFS1@getnickwright There’s a reason those shows performed better than Nick’s show. Fans love the heated unfiltered no holds barred verbal sparring. Nick’s show rose because those shows broke up. When they were all competing he was not close to those
@savdam10@FTFonFS1@getnickwright There is a reason those shows were ahead of Nick’s show. Deep down fans love that heated no holds barred debate. Notice First Things First only rose after those shows ended or separated.
