VineWall Week 38 π±
VineWall got to the Hacker News front page this week, which made the waitlist almost 3x, and exploded the closed beta DAU.
Thanks to this new influx of users, I'm pausing any growth efforts to focus on implementing the feedback I'm getting.
@tekbog@PalmerLuckey@elonmusk I would not trust Elon to make even a generic off brand Tetris game
Palmer on the other hand already tried, and I bet if he wanted he could
This is a feature I regret not implementing before. VineWall always had an in app feedback feature, collecting feedback when people are about to delete the app would be very useful to understand what is causing churn
@SwiftOnSecurity I highly doubt there is the kickbacks going on, the real explanation is more simple: During ZIRP managers/directors/vps had an incentive to have an org as big as possible, even if someone was bad, it was better for them to look the other way.
@_nghiatran Someone did the same thing with my app, and they had the nerve to reach me and ask for a "partnership".
They copied my exact slogan and the whole thing is an AI slop.
At the end of the day, this is confirmation that I'm going something worth to be copied :)
@kathrynwu1 Idk I never been there, but I seen it at places I worked before.
It was not called "996" at the time, but 3-4 weeks after people be asked to work more, you could see people actually working less and doing more social activities at work.
@hkarthik Every time I see some place claiming to be 996, if you look how they spend the time, you see a lot of personal activities crammed in (gym, dinning, social events, etc...)
